Ex-Arsenal midfielder Maitland-Niles agrees Lyon contract

Olympique Lyon are in talks with free agent Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

The midfielder has been allowed to come off contract by Arsenal.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting: "Olympique Lyon are now on the verge of signing Ainsley Maitland-Niles on free transfer, confirmed as reported by @Podcast_TBG

"Four year deal verbally agreed, talks moving to the final stages.

"AMN, available as free agent after leaving Arsenal in June."
