Barcelona beat Getafe 4-0 at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Saturday to move to within five points of La Liga leaders Real Madrid.

Raphinha, Joao Felix, Frenkie de Jong and Fermin Lopez all scored in Barcelona's biggest league win since September.

De Jong's goal was Barcelona's 11,000th in competitive games in the club's 124-year history.

Of Barcelona's 11,001 goals, 6,458 have now been scored in La Liga.

Raphinha opened the scoring in the 20th minute when he netted his first La Liga goal of 2024 with a clinical finish from 16 yards after running onto a long through-pass from Jules Kounde.

A slick counter-attack resulted in Felix making it 2-0 in the 53rd minute when he got on the end of a low cross from Andreas Christensen, who was playing in central midfield.

Robert Lewandowski had a goal disallowed for offside before Raphinha teed up De Jong to score Barca's third.

Lopez then completed the rout in added time by converting a rebound after fellow substitute Vitor Roque had been denied by Getafe keeper David Soria.

Barca have now won four games, drawn two and lost none since manager Xavi Hernandez announced his decision to leave at the end of the season.
