Inter defenders in attendance for thrilling Bayern Munich-Real Madrid – pictures

Inter defenders Benjamin Pavard and Yann Bisseck are both in attendance at the Allianz Stadium for Bayern Munich’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Carlo Ancelotti’s 14-time winners, Real Madrid.

Pavard is in the stands among the Bayern Munich supporters to support the club he played for until his transfer to Inter last summer. For Bisseck, it is a return to his home nation. He has posted a short video from the ground on his Instagram story.

The Nerazzurri centre-backs, who have been in celebratory mood since their title celebrations in Milan on Sunday, have been treated to a European thriller, in which Vinicius Jr. opened the scoring, only for Bayern to take the lead with two goals in five minutes from Leroy Sane and Harry Kane.

Vinicius has since rescinded with an 85th-minute penalty.

Pavard and Bisseck are still expected to report for Inter training tomorrow, in preparation for Saturday’s Serie A match away against relegation-threatened Sassuolo.
