AC Milan’s Primavera side recorded another big win on Monday afternoon against Juventus, emerging 1-0 victors at the Allianz Training Center.

Some of the stars from the Primavera side returned in excellent form following the international break, and they came up against a Juve side that are down in 13th but still have som talented players.

The only goal of the game came 14 minutes in and it was rather unsurprisingly Francesco Camarda who popped up at the right time to convert a set piece.

The young Rossoneri striker got free at the far post behind the Juventus defence, diverting Diego Sia’s previous flick-on into the back of the net.

Scotti had a chance to double the advantage in the 43rd minute, while Juventus then missed opportunities early in the second half through Pagnucco and Mancini.

Scotti and Stalmach had the best chances for the Rossoneri during the second half, while Florea probably had the highlight for the home side, who huffed and puffed but could not break down a resilient defence.

The result moves Abate’s men one point behind Torino who are in sixth but it does compact the table, given that Sassuolo (44pts), Roma (47), Atalanta (49) and Inter (51) are the teams ahead.

Next up for Milan Primavera is an away trip to face Sampdoria in one week, while that UEFA Youth League semi-final against Porto looms on 19 April.
