Liverpool eager to know Robertson scan results

Liverpool face an anxious wait to discover the condition of defender Andy Robertson.

The Scotland left-back had to come off during their friendly against Northern Ireland.

Robertson appears to have an ankle injury, which Liverpool Echo states the club will have to assess.

He was back at the AXA Training Centre on Wednesday afternoon for scans and other tests.

Robertson has already been out for a chunk of this season with a shoulder problem.

Now the Reds are facing the prospect of being without their starting left-back for the Premier League run-in.
