Phil Jones posts thank-you to Man Utd fans

Outgoing Manchester United defender Phil Jones paid tribute to the fans this week.

The former England international has barely played a game in anger over the past few years.

Jones officially announced he was leaving United when his contract expired, and has now taken time to express his thanks to United fans for supporting him through good and tough times.

"I want to express my thanks for the incredible love and support over the last week," Jones posted on his Twitter page.

"I've known how special the United fans are, but this week has shown just how special.

"I hope you enjoy the FA Cup final, I'll be supporting the lads in the stands, backing them just as much as you."
