Brett DiBiase, the son of WWE Hall Of Famer Ted DiBiase, was involved in a massive embezzlement scandal in Mississippi and has now submitted a guilty plea regarding the matter.

DiBiase pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States in the US District Court, according to a report from WLBT. He previously pleaded guilty to making fraudulent statements in 2020. In addition to his sentence in state court, he also faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

DiBiase was one of many people who were part of the fraud that involved the embezzlement of millions of dollars in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families funding.

He was paid $48,000 through his business Restore2, LLC by using several false claims to get the money and allegedly covered up these payments by falsifying documents, invoices, books, reports, and ledgers. DiBiase had invoices created made to pay him for teaching classes about drug abuse.

Brett worked for WWE's developmental territory, FCW, from 2008-2011, where he was a one-time FCW Florida Tag Team Champion.
