Dolph Ziggler Released by WWE

Dolph Ziggler is the latest name to be released by WWE today as part of ongoing budget cuts. Ziggler's release was first reported by Fightful Select.

Ziggler was signed by WWE in 2004 and was brought up to the main roster as part of The Spirit Squad cheerleader faction. He also played the role of Chavo Guerrero's caddie when Chavo was repackaged as Kerwin White. Ziggler flirted with the main event scene but was largely seen as a good hand who could work a good match with anyone.
