Marty Jannetty Reveals He Was Told He Would Need His Leg Amputated

Marty Jannetty has taken to social media to share some unfortunate news.

In a recent post on Facebook, Jannetty revealed that he’s been going through “a tough time” in his life. First, Jannetty said that doctors told him that they wanted to amputate his leg. He also wrote that his sister had tragically passed away. Jannetty said that he would be stepping away from his podcast for its next episode as he took time to process.

Throughout his wrestling career, Jannetty has dealt with several issues regarding his ankles, and he had surgery in 2020. In 2021, he stated that he was “fixed up.” It’s unclear exactly what issue has led to doctors saying that he had to have his leg amputated.
