Popular Tag Team Rumored To Join Chad Gable As Heel Stable
WWE

Chad Gable just turned heel and he will apparently have some backup as WWE plans to add a popular tag team for a new stable.

Heading into WrestleMania 40, Sami Zayn and Chad Gable both made compelling points for a match with Gunther. They met, with Sami winning and then defeating Gunther at WrestleMania 40. In the process, Sami ended the longest Intercontinental Championship reign in WWE history. And, one of Sami’s first responsibilities was giving Gable a crack at the gold. In the end, Sami retained and Gable turned heel with a vicious attack after the bell on RAW.

Clearly, Sami vs Gable is just getting started. Also, look for other names to get involved. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports how the Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) will be turning heel and aligning with Gable. When NXT was revamped, the Creed Brothers were some of the early products. They won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and NXT Tag Championships during their three years stint. Most of that time, they worked with Roderick Strong as part of Diamond Mine. Once Strong left, they were better featured in NXT.

What Happens to Alpha Academy?

Although, the same cannot be said on the main roster. The real life brothers are part of RAW, but not used often. Mostly, they appear in matches with several tag teams. Those two have tons of potential and a heel turn might be the ingredient to garner more fans.

It remains to be seen what happens with Gable’s Alpha Academy. Otis, Maxxine Dupri  and Akira Tozawa are over as faces and I cannot see them turning heel. Perhaps, they come to the aid of Sami. Even then, the champion will need better assistance. So, is turning the Creed Brothers heel and having them work with Chad Gable in a new stable the right call?
