In a message to fans on Tuesday, Sammy Guevara confirmed that he's been cleared to return to the ring.

Dave Meltzer reported last Thursday that Guevara had been cleared to return from his concussion and would be back in AEW soon. Meltzer said Guevara had been cleared for over a week, but there was no reason for him to come back before Tay Melo gave birth to the couple's daughter.

Guevara and Melo shared a YouTube video today introducing their daughter to viewers of Guevara's vlog. During the video, Guevara confirmed that he's cleared to get back into the ring.

"I'm doing good. I'm cleared," Guevara announced.

Melo said that, while it's not good that Guevara had a concussion, Guevara was a big help at home while he was out injured. Melo said pregnancy was "really hard," with Guevara adding that the final month was really rough.

Melo and Guevara welcomed their daughter Luna Melo Guevara into the world on November 28. Melo went through more than 24 hours of labor before giving birth.

"We just wanted to get on here to tell you that Tay's doing good, baby's doing good, I'm doing good," Guevara said.

Guevara's concussion happened during a trios match at AEW WrestleDream on October 1. Guevara, Konosuke Takeshita & Will Ospreay defeated Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi at the pay-per-view.

Guevara was hoping to return for an AEW Dynamite episode in his hometown of Houston in October, but he wasn't cleared in time for that event.

A return match for Guevara has yet to be announced.
