WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has weighed in on the grim Vince McMahon allegations.

McMahon is no longer a part of TKO Group Holdings following a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant. She has filed a lawsuit accusing McMahon and former WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis of sex trafficking. Laurinaitis' legal team has claimed that he is a victim himself in the case, which many have criticized him for.

It's a tough time amid red hot business for WWE. While WrestleMania 40 is approaching and figures to be a loaded two-night show with tons of buzz and feel-good moments, one can't help but sense a dark cloud hangs over all of it.

That's exactly how Foley is feeling.

During a post-Royal Rumble edition of "Foley Is Pod," hardcore icon Mick Foley compared how he feels about the Vince McMahon allegations to a tragedy that shocked the wrestling industry back in 2007.

"I don't know all the facts, but man, it's really ugly," Foley said. "I feel very similar, just like that dead inside feeling the way I had in 2007 after the [Chris] Benoit murders. I hope it doesn't take away from people's amazing memories of all the things that Mr. McMahon created or helped create, including my character and the programs that I was in. He was such a big part of it. I wish he really just stepped aside the first time we just heard a little hint of these allegations."

Foley was a volunteer of the RAINN hotline for two years. He praised the nonprofit organization for implementing an anonymous chatroom for survivors. At the time of Foley's volunteer work, that option was not available.

"If you go to RAINN.org, you not only can talk to a trained volunteer, but you can talk amongst other people who may be in the same situation that you are," Foley said.
