What is the chance that Saahdiq Charles or Chris Paul breaks out in 2023? In my continuing mission to spare Commanders fans the heartbreak and disappointment
The Washington Commanders need a young left tackle for the future. Charles Leno Jr. is entering his 10th NFL season in 2023 and third with Washington. While Leno is a serviceable player, Washington fans were accustomed to seeing Chris Samuels and Trent Williams man the left tackle position.
Chris Paul is entering his second NFL season in 2023. A seventh-round pick from Tulsa in the 2022 NFL draft, Paul is competing with Saahdiq Charles to start at left guard for the Washington Commanders this upcoming season.
Unfortunately, the Commanders’ Paul is a guard of the offensive line, not point, variety. He also went to Tulsa, not Wake Forest, and is nearly twice the size of the NBA’s Paul at 331 pounds.
